- Weekly discussion topic
The weekly discussion topic is agreed to by the group, and may include any of the following:
- Training opportunities and funding
- Networking
- Information interviews
- Phone interviews
- Online resumes
- Interview techniques
- Interview experiences
- Unemployment issues
- TAA (Trade Adjustment Act, which provides extended benefits for people whose jobs have been outsourced out of the country)

The goal is to keep these special topics grounded in experience, and to provide practical information that we can put to use, rather than just theoretical or general guidelines.
