Looking up from below the dam, at the bottom end of the power station. Part way up, you can see two of the air vents which provide ventilation inside the dam.

From the overlook at the visitors' center, the curvature of the dam is pronounced. Water pressure on the lake side pushes into the curve, and actually reinforces the dam.
