I live in a house. It's an ordinary house.

It was one of those wonderful warm days early in spring, when you can feel life returning to the world. We'd taken a walk on a nature trail--which, as it happens, was at the visitor's center for the local nuclear power plant.

It's almost as though I was born into classical music; it's always been around. I started piano lessons at 6 and cello at 8, and stayed with both through the end of high school.
