Online Submission

The online submission process uses file upload, a feature not supported by all browsers. The following browsers have been tested, and will work for online submission:

• Netscape, version 3 or above, for Windows, Macintosh, and Unix
• Internet Explorer, version 4, for Windows

The following browsers have been tested and do not work for online submission:

• Netscape, version 2, for OS/2
• Internet Explorer, versions 3 and 4, for Macintosh

If you use a different browser and you know that your browser supports file upload and multipart form data, then you may proceed. Otherwise, please mail or fax your submission using our printable cover page (PDF file, 72K).

A complete submission package for all session types includes additional documents, such as a long description, background, or camera-ready papers. Please be sure that you have these materials ready to send before proceeding further.

Important note on file formats: We can only accept files in three formats: Microsoft Word documents, rich text format, and plain text. No other file formats can be accepted. The camera-ready companion paper required for poster sessions must be either Word or rich text format. Please save Microsoft Word documents in Word 6 format if at all possible. If you send plain text files that have been edited on a Macintosh, please save as MS-DOS text with line breaks before submitting.
